Return and Refund Policy

1. OVERVIEW

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through EdekiHub, a product of Edeki Multipurpose Company Ltd (“Marketplace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a multivendor platform that connects independent third-party sellers (“Vendors”) with buyers (“Customers”).

By making a purchase on the Marketplace, you expressly agree to this Policy. This Policy is designed to strictly protect the Marketplace, its operators, and its affiliates from liability, while assigning primary responsibility for products and fulfillment to Vendors.


2. ROLE OF THE MARKETPLACE

  • The Marketplace is not the seller of record for most products listed.

  • Each Vendor is an independent contractor, solely responsible for:

    • Product quality

    • Accuracy of listings

    • Shipping and delivery

    • Handling returns and refunds

  • The Marketplace does not manufacture, inspect, or guarantee any products.

Accordingly:

  • The Marketplace bears no liability for defective, damaged, incorrect, or unsatisfactory products.

  • Any dispute regarding a product is strictly between the Customer and the Vendor, subject to Marketplace facilitation at its sole discretion.


3. GENERAL RETURN ELIGIBILITY

Returns are not guaranteed and are only permitted under the following strict conditions:

3.1 Eligible Cases

A return request may be considered ONLY if:

  • The item is materially defective, OR

  • The item is significantly different from its description, OR

  • The wrong item was delivered

3.2 Non-Eligible Cases

Returns will be automatically rejected if:

  • The Customer changes their mind

  • The product does not meet subjective expectations

  • The item has been used, worn, altered, or damaged after delivery

  • The Customer failed to read product descriptions

  • The item falls under non-returnable categories (see Section 6)


4. RETURN WINDOW

  • All return requests must be submitted within 2-3 days  from delivery.

  • Requests submitted after this window are automatically denied without exception.

Proof of delivery timestamp from logistics providers shall be considered final and binding.


5. STRICT RETURN REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in original condition

  • All packaging, tags, seals, and accessories must be intact

  • The Customer must provide:

    • Clear photo/video evidence

    • Unboxing video (if required)

    • Order number and detailed complaint

Failure to provide sufficient evidence results in automatic rejection.

The Marketplace reserves the absolute right to:

  • Determine validity of claims

  • Reject any request without explanation

  • Request additional documentation


6. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following categories are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable, unless required by law:

  • Perishable goods

  • Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, underwear)

  • Digital products and downloads

  • Gift cards and vouchers

  • Customized or made-to-order items

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Items marked “Non-Returnable”


7. RETURN PROCESS

Step 1: Request Submission

Customers must submit a return request via the Marketplace platform within the allowed timeframe.

Step 2: Review

  • The Vendor reviews the request

  • The Marketplace may intervene at its sole discretion, but is not obligated to do so

Step 3: Approval or Rejection

  • Vendors may approve or reject requests

  • The Marketplace reserves final decision authority

Step 4: Return Shipping

If approved:

  • The Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. However, if the return is due to Vendor error (wrong/damaged item), the Vendor bears the shipping costs or shared by both.

  • The Customer bears all risks during return transit

If the return is due to Vendor error (wrong/damaged item), the Vendor bears the shipping cost

 

If the return is for other reasons, the Customer may bear the cost unless stated otherwise


8. REFUNDS

8.1 Refund Conditions

Refunds are issued ONLY when:

  • The Vendor confirms receipt of the returned item, AND

  • The item passes inspection

8.2 Refund Method

Refunds may be issued via:

  • Original payment method, OR

  • Store credit (at Marketplace discretion)

8.3 Deductions

The Marketplace and/or Vendor may deduct:

  • Shipping fees (original and return)

  • Payment processing fees

  • Restocking fees (up to 100% of item value)

  • Damage or depreciation costs

8.4 Processing Time

Refunds may take up to 30 business days or longer depending on:

  • Vendor processing time

  • Payment provider delays

The Marketplace is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.


9. DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

  • Customers agree to contact the Marketplace first before initiating chargebacks

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

    • Permanent account suspension

    • Blacklisting across Vendors

    • Legal action where applicable

The Marketplace reserves the right to:

  • Provide evidence to financial institutions

  • Contest all disputes aggressively


10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Marketplace shall not be liable for:

    • Product defects

    • Delivery failures

    • Vendor misconduct

    • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Total liability of the Marketplace shall not exceed the amount paid to the Marketplace (excluding Vendor portion)


11. NO GUARANTEES

The Marketplace makes no warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Product reliability

All products are provided “as is” and “as available.”


12. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The Marketplace reserves the right to:

  • Refuse any return or refund request

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

  • Reverse transactions where fraud is suspected

All decisions are final and non-negotiable.


13. POLICY OVERRIDES

  • Vendors may implement stricter policies, but not more lenient ones without Marketplace approval

  • In case of conflict, Marketplace Policy prevails


14. FRAUD & ABUSE

Any attempt to abuse the return system, including:

  • False claims

  • Item switching

  • Repeated excessive returns

Will result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

  • Forfeiture of refunds

  • Possible legal action


15. MODIFICATIONS

The Marketplace reserves the right to:

  • Update or modify this Policy at any time

  • Enforce changes immediately upon publication

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

By completing a purchase on the Marketplace, the Customer acknowledges that they have:

  • Agreed to this Policy in full

Failure to read this Policy does not exempt the Customer from its terms.
